Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected and used on this Tequila Fest website, which currently exists to (1) build the Tequila Fest 2027 Early Access List for each city, including cities where Tequila Fest already takes place (currently New York City and Atlanta), and (2) collect votes for which new cities Tequila Fest 2027 should expand to. This site does not sell tickets and does not process payments.

Information you give us
When you submit the city vote form, we collect and store:
- First name and last name
- Email address (stored both as entered and in a normalized lowercase form)
- Mobile phone number, if you provide one (optional; stored both as entered and normalized to E.164 format). A phone number is only required if you opt in to text messages.
- The Tequila Fest city you selected
- Your "Other City" write-in response, if you entered one
- Your SMS marketing consent status, and your email consent status and scope (Early Access notifications only, or all Tequila Fest marketing email)
- Consent records: the date and time of each consent or opt-out, the exact disclosure text and version shown to you, and the page or campaign it came from
- The date and time of your vote, and of any later change to your city
Information collected automatically
- The page you landed on and the referring website or app that sent you here, stored with your record for attribution.
- Campaign parameters present in the link you clicked: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term. These are held in your browser's session storage for the duration of your visit and saved with your submission.
- Anti-abuse information: your IP address is converted into an irreversible hashed value used solely to rate-limit submissions from the same connection. We do not store your raw IP address in the voting records and do not use it to profile you.
- Anonymous analytics events describing how the page is used — for example page views, city selections, form starts, vote submissions, opt-ins and share clicks — along with a random session identifier, the selected city, campaign parameters and landing page. These analytics events do not contain your name, email address or phone number.
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. The only browser storage used is session storage for campaign attribution and a local record that you already voted, so the page can show your confirmation state.
Why we use this information
- Recording and counting Tequila Fest city votes
- Operating the Tequila Fest 2027 Early Access program
- Sending event and city announcements you asked for
- Providing Early Access opportunities, including the opportunity to buy tickets at discounted Early Access pricing before general public pricing, when available
- Sending marketing communications where you gave the matching consent
- Measuring demand city by city to decide which markets Tequila Fest enters
- Website analytics and marketing attribution
- Preventing duplicate votes and detecting spam, fraud and automated abuse
- Improving Tequila Fest events, marketing and website experience
- Meeting legal, recordkeeping and consent-documentation obligations
Consent, and how the two channels differ
Email. Submitting the form is your request to join the Early Access List for the city you selected, and your permission for us to email you about that city's announcement, Early Access ticket windows and discounted Early Access pricing. That purpose is stated on the form above the submit button and the disclosure shown to you is saved with your record. You may separately opt in to broader Tequila Fest marketing email; that is optional. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
SMS. Text messages are only sent to people who checked the separate, unchecked SMS consent box and provided a mobile number. SMS consent is optional, is never required to vote or to join the Early Access List, and is not a condition of any purchase. See the SMS Terms.
Opt-outs are permanent and take priority: once an email address or phone number has opted out, a later submission on this site will not re-subscribe it.
Duplicate votes and identity matching
One person counts as one vote. Your normalized email address and phone number are used to recognize you if you come back. If you submit again with a different city, your existing vote is updated to the new city and the previous vote is retained as inactive history rather than counted twice.
Voting does not guarantee an event
Selecting or voting for a city does not guarantee that Tequila Fest will hold an event in that city. Votes are market research used to help decide where Tequila Fest goes next.
Sharing and storage
Voter and lead information is not publicly visible on this site. It is stored in our hosted database and is accessible only to authorized Tequila Fest staff through an authenticated admin area. We share information with service providers who host the site and database or send email and text messages on our behalf, and we may disclose information where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Email and SMS exports used for campaigns are filtered so that text-message exports only include contacts with an active SMS opt-in.
We keep vote, contact and consent records for as long as needed to operate the Early Access program and to document consent, unless you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from email using the link in any message, and stop texts by replying STOP. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to remove your vote, by contacting info@cityelitegroup.com.
This site is intended for people of legal drinking age in their location and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Tequila Fest 2027 program develops; the updated date at the top will change when we do.
